The weather was perfect, Gia was an absolute angel, and the flowers made this First Holy Communion session just glorious. Having a prayer bench and a cross doesn’t hurt either!  Gia Annalise showed up looking like a little doll and we got to experience the pink apple blossoms amongst the pink and purple tulips. She shined like a star, letting me play with her posing and my ideas. She is a natural performer and it showed. I know her First Holy Communion was perfect just like her visit here, and I can’t wait to visit with her and her family again one day. What a blast we had!

This was shoot about April 25th of LAST YEAR here in Beaver, PA. I’m hoping that these colorful tulips will make their way back through, but I’ve had a hard time with tulips coming back. I think I might be doing something wrong because they aren’t looking to healthy this year. Daffodils always look fantastic but with a busy schedule in the fall its hard to add to them every year. And the apple blossoms look so good! Its wonderful to see all the growth since we fenced them in. We are definitely changing the orchard after this spring bloom cycle. NEED MORE FLOWERS.

It snowed here today… and I’m hoping after the frost we had that all my mid spring bloomers won’t get to frosty too. I guess in about two weeks we will find out. This areas blooms last about 2 weeks-ish. Let the count down begin…
