Boy Senior Photos In The Fall-Southside, PA

The Southside of Pittsburgh has a special place in my heart. When I moved here my very first trip to Pittsburgh was me sneaking to the Southside to visit a friend of a friend who had her very own apartment. Being 15 I was so pumped to be doing something “cool,” not caring about the consequences…just taking a wide eyed look at my new city here was EVERYTHING I was about. The Southside of Pittsburgh was a different place in the 90’s. Carson Street held every oddity known and the fascination gave me a sense of excitement and wonder. We have seen this little pocket of the city change over the years but I’ll never forget the first time I came through those tunnels…like lighting striking. (Pittsburgh does that effect the first time…trust me!)

My dude Collin here was no exception to excitement the Southside can hold. The Southside Works was our first stop with a little loose suit session in some of those “new” business areas. I had to make sure we incorporate his love of music on top a parking garage before his outfit change. I loved hitting that vibe all alone while we watch the sun set over our beloved city. It really got the session buzzing. The Hot Metal Bridge came in a close second for that causal fall vibe with an edgy look. The colors in Pittsburgh that day couldn’t have been more vibrant. Explosions of color will always have me in awe.

We DEFINITELY chased that light all the way to Color Park in the Southside. Its was darker than I had hoped but we got the job done. Showcasing his love of hockey was so easy here. Crazy color in the background made for a quick rep of his school. Like…lets go!!

Collin…I’ve known you since you were one. I sold your parents their house when I was a realtor that’s how far we go back. I adore your family. Your momma. She’s a saint. Hold on to yourself sweet big eyed baby boy, I see so many great things for you. Its about to be as exciting as those first moments out the tunnel…
